Andy Couzens expects more twists and turns as Leeds United fight for survival
Andy Couzens has said that the results did not go in the favour of Leeds United this week as the relegation battle intensifies.
The Whites lost 4-0 against Manchester City, while both Burnley and Everton have won their respective games.
Burnley defeated Watford 2-1 on Saturday, while Everton managed a 1-0 win against Chelsea on Sunday.
Couzens wrote on Twitter: “Not the results we wanted this weekend but there are still lots of twists and turns to come in this battle for survival.”
Vital next two games
The next two games are absolutely vital for Leeds and the results could shape their Premier League destiny.
The Whites are actually on a good run of form. Prior to the big defeat against City, they managed three wins and two draws in their last five games.
In fact, they started really well against City, but defensive errors crept in and they lost the way as a result.

There’s no shame in losing against Pep Guardiola’s side, but the Whites need to regroup quickly and get some positive results in their next two games.
With Everton picking up a win today, the Whites can hardly relax, considering the Toffees have a game in hand.
The next two games for Leeds include a trip to the Emirates to face Arsenal, which hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for the Toffees.
After that, they face Chelsea next at Elland Road. If Leeds fail to pick up at least a point from these two games, they are likely to invite Burnley and Everton to leapfrog them.
Both the teams would be incredibly tough but Leeds need to stay focused. Two draws would be ideal, and a victory in any of them would be massive.
