Andrea Radrizzani sends brilliant Leeds United message on Twitter

Leeds United majority shareholder Andrea Radrizzani has posted a heartfelt message while replying to the club’s Twitter post.

The club official Twitter handle posted a video capturing various memorable moments of 2021.

Leeds enjoyed their first season in the Premier League after an absence of 16 years and finished the season at 9th in the table.

Radrizzani responded to the post, saying – “Thank you for all moments of good football and the emotions we felt.”

Tough second season

While the first season back at Premier League was exhilarating, the second season is proving to be really challenging for the Whites.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side find themselves in the bottom half of the table, with the club fighting for survival this season.

The results haven’t gone their way, while the club have faced some humiliating defeats recently.

On top of that, a huge pile of injuries to key players has left the club down to bare bones in recent months.

Leeds will face Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday, and it can be billed as an early relegation six-pointer.

Truth be told, Leeds are capable of better than this, but without their key players, they are finding it difficult to match last season’s heroics.

With Kalvin Phillips and Liam Cooper out till March, a crucial January window awaits for Leeds.

In other Leeds United news, a loan-to-buy deal is on the cards for the Whites to sign this player in January with a club ready to sell.
