Andrea Radrizzani kills Leeds United winger Jack Harrison exit link stone-dead

Andrea Radrizzani has made it clear that there’s “no way” Leeds United will sell Jack Harrison to Newcastle United this summer.

French journalist Santi Aouna wrote for Foot Mercato on 1 August that the Magpies have submitted an offer in the region of £33m for the winger, but it was rejected immediately.

Graham Smyth of The Yorkshire Evening Post clarified on 3 August that there has been no new bid for the player.

“Absolutely not. There is no way. Jack stays here,” Radrizzni said, while speaking to The Atheltic.

Bold message

This is indeed a bold message from the Leeds owner. There was no half measure from him. He simply ended the link by saying the player is not for sale.

That’s what the club manager wants to hear, and it reflects what a leader he is off the pitch.

This is a massive summer window for the club, and they had to sell two key players on big-money deals.

However, losing Harrison would be a blow. It needs time for new players to gel, and there was no need for the club to sell the former Manchester City winger at the moment.

Harrison has established himself as one of the key players for the club. He can play on both flanks and works extremely hard.

Newcastle can make a tempting offer for him, but at some point the club need to make a strong call, taking into account what’s best for the team.

At the moment, keeping Harrison is a smart decision, and Radrizzani has made it loud and clear.

In other Leeds United news, this Leeds star has taken Marsch’s decision personally as he looks to quit Elland Road this summer.
