Andrea Radrizzani in attendance at Leeds United v Fulham as Jesse Marsch exit mooted

Andrea Radrizzani is at Elland Road to watch Leeds United versus Fulham with Jesse Marsch under increasing pressure, according to Joe Donnohue.

The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist reported via his personal Twitter account ahead of kick-off on Sunday (23 October) that chairman Radrizzani is at Elland Road along with director Peter Lowy.

Lowy is a significant investor” in 49ers Enterprises, who have a deal in place to buy Leeds fully from Radrizzani by January 2024 for over £400million [The Athletic].

Marching on without Marsch?

It doesn’t seem as though Marsch will have long left at Leeds if he doesn’t arrest his side’s slump in form soon.

Playing Fulham at home is a perfect chance to do that.

The Londoners have had a decent start to the season with Aleksandr Mitrovic firing on all cylinders up front but Leeds have been woeful for weeks now and haven’t won since their shock victory over Chelsea in August.

On Thursday, Marsch essentially threw in the towel with rotten team selection at Leicester and now, Leeds could find themselves in the bottom three if they lose by a big enough margin against Fulham on Sunday.

Marsch is understandably under pressure.

Tony Cascarino has told The Times that Marsch could even be sacked by the end of Sunday if his side lose to Fulham in front of the home crowd at Elland Road.

Are Radrizzani and Lowy at Elland Road for that reason?

Could they hold instant crisis talks with the American manager straight after the game if they lose?

It’s a possibility, unfortunately.

In other Leeds United news, a multi-million player is in a battle to save his career at Elland Road.
