Andrea Radrizzani hopes Leeds can be playing in Europe in three years
Andrea Radrizzani has revealed that Leeds United are looking to increase their stadium capacity and hoping to play in Europe very soon.
The Elland Road outfit finished ninth in the Premier League last season after returning for the first time since 2004.
The Whites are keen to impress in their second season back in the top-flight, and the aim is for Marcelo Bielsa’s side to become European regulars going forward.
“Our goal is to maintain (our place) in the league and, if we maintain the league, we can build on the foundation,” Radrizzani told Sky Sports after Sunday’s game against Liverpool.
“We invested a lot in players last year and this season and I believe the club is going in the right direction to establish itself in the Premier League.
“The dream is to play in European nights in a bigger stadium in two or three – probably three – years.”

Elland Road currently has a 37,890 capacity, and Leeds would be pushing for more than 40,000 and more going forward.
The fans would love that as the stadium surely needs more of them to cheer the team on.
While such a development can be carried out within any time frame, getting the team into Europe is easier said than done.
Having picked up just two points in their opening four Premier League games of the new campaign, Leeds would be eager to get a win when they visit Newcastle United on Friday.
Breaking into the top-seven this season will not be the easiest of tasks for the Yorkshire outfit this term or anytime soon.
The likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea remain the constant challengers for the top-four, with Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United all pushing to break into the Champions League places.
It will take a lot of quality investment to start challenging for Europe, and the squad is still a couple of top signings away from realistically challenging for the continental places.
