Andrea Radrizzani could slash ownership to 56% as Leeds United ownership prediction made by Phil Hay
Phil Hay has mooted two potential options for Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani regarding his stake in the club.
The Whites are facing several key decisions behind the scenes amid their struggles on the pitch this season.
Goal difference is currently the only thing keeping Leeds out of the Premier League relegation zone with just four matches remaining.

“I feel like there are probably two more options in the Championship,” Hay said on The Athletic’s The Phil Hay Show (34m54s). “One could be that Radrizzani sets it at 56 per cent and tries to get up as quick as Burnley have using parachute payments, transfer funds and whatever else they can pull together.
“The other would seem to be that 49ers Enterprises do move into majority ownership without going wildly close to 100 per cent, with clauses, options and whatever else further down the line to complete a fuller or full takeover if they’re promoted and back in the Premier League, perhaps at a price that would more suit Radrizzani.”

Decisions to be made
Burnley have enjoyed a superb campaign in the Championship, with the club fully deserving of their immediate return to the Premier League under the watchful eye of Vincent Kompany.
And it’s a situation that Leeds will be desperate to repeat if indeed they do drop down to the Championship.
Fears of dropping down a division are very real at Elland Road given the worrying season, although fans will be hoping for an immediate bounce under new coach Sam Allardyce, a tactic that has worked for other Premier League strugglers.
It has been bad news after bad news for the Whites in recent times, but the impending 49 Enterprises deal represents a huge step forward, with all associated with the club keen to see it over the line as soon as possible.
All of the issues can, of course, be massively boosted if the West Yorkshire outfit stave off relegation and retain their precious top flight status.
In other Leeds United news, one EFL manager has joked he’s surprised the Whites didn’t approach him for the job before appointing Allardyce.
