Andrea Radrizzani could now stay at Leeds United as sources share fresh San Francisco 49ers takeover news
Andrea Radrizzani is reportedly not ruling out staying at Leeds United beyond this season in the event of relegation despite agreement with San Francisco 49ers.
According to the Telegraph [29 April], sources have shared that he could rebuild for another promotion and then look to sell the club at a later date.
Currently, the 49ers have an option of retaining full control of the club if they stay in the Premier League for the 2023/24 season.

Needs to leave
Radrizzani is thinking solely of himself as selling the club in the Championship is going to fetch him far less money than if they’re a top-flight side.
However, he’s taken this club as far as he could and the current board only seems to be taking them in the opposite direction.
History will remember him as the owner to appoint Marcelo Bielsa and ensure Leeds got promoted and he’s now overstaying his welcome.

This will only tarnish his legacy and make him lose whatever goodwill he’s got left with the fans, if anything.
He may not get as much as he would if Leeds were a Premier League outfit but there are no guarantees that they’ll get promoted the first time of asking.
Few key players will be looking to leave and it’s easier said than done for clubs to bounce right back up so it is a risk.
