Ally McCoist shocked by Leeds United and Everton in Premier League this season
Ally McCoist has been left stunned by the struggles of Leeds United and Everton in the Premier League.
The two clubs sit dangerously close to the relegation zone this season, and both suffered defeats yet again over the weekend.
McCoist insisted their positions were a shock, with someone such as Brentford more what you would expect in that area.

Speaking live on talkSPORT this morning (08 March), McCoist singled out those who have left him stunned.
“It is Everton and Leeds United, Brentford coming up, there’s less of an element of shock,” he said.
“There’s not many who thought that would be the case.”
Shock.
Not many would have predicted Leeds and Everton to be sitting where they are at this moment in time, but that is the reality, unfortunately.
Looking at the Toffees last night in their 5-0 thumping by Spurs, it is no surprise they are there, with Leeds in a much better place.
Jesse Marsch has come in and has looked to tighten things up at the back while keeping the relentless style of attack in a counter-based formation.
It worked wonders against Leicester, and if we had put away our chances, we would have left with an easy three points, but it didn’t work out that way.
McCoist isn’t the only one left stunned by the Whites and those around them, though, and it is time to put those worries to bed sooner rather than later.
We need to start picking up points, starting immediately against Aston Villa and Norwich at Elland Road this week.
