Ally McCoist stunned by Premier League fixtures this weekend, ‘massive’ for Leeds United

Ally McCoist was left stunned by the upcoming Premier League fixtures this weekend, with them being labelled as “massive” for Leeds United.

The Whites welcome Norwich to Elland Road on Sunday, with Brentford also taking on Burnley in London.

Leeds are desperate for points, with Everton and the Clarets both having numerous games-in-hand as things stand.

Speaking live on Amazon Prime coverage last night (10 March), McCoist was previewing the weekend coming up.

“Wow,” he said.

“I think there is also Brentford v Burnley on Saturday, it is now cutthroat – massive.”

Make or break.

It is as simple as this, lose and Leeds may as well start preparing for the Championship next season based on how they gave up last night.

Marcelo Bielsa also made sure his side kept going and pushed until the very last moment, but last night was an embarrassment.

Jesse Marsch can’t exactly take the blame either, with the American simply being thrown into this mess.

The players need to take a long look at themselves, with too many of our key men not turning up and being accountable.

Raphinha needs to step up and get that awful look off his face, and going back to basics may help on Sunday.

Play Robin Koch in defence and not midfield, play Dan James out wide, and play Luke Ayling at right-back – those are their positions, we need to stop forcing things.

We are praying for three points.
