Alan Shearer shares why Leeds United may have advantage vs Tottenham
Leeds United face Tottenham this weekend, in what could prove to be one of their biggest tests yet.
Off the back of Leeds’ 2-2 draw at home to Bournemouth, the Whites are back in action at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs are the visitors on this occasion, having enjoyed a fairly solid start to life under Thomas Frank since his appointment in the summer.
Tottenham are favourites to beat Leeds, but Alan Shearer has highlighted the one reason it may not be an easy game for the North Londoners.

Tottenham have been playing abroad this week
While Leeds have had a full week of preparation for Saturday’s game, the same cannot be said for Frank’s Tottenham.
Just three days after their 1-1 draw with Wolves last weekend, Spurs travelled abroad to face Bodo in the Champions League, and then face Leeds four days after that.
Tottenham struggled massively with injuries and depth last season, and that will be put to the test again this weekend with their third game in just seven days.
That is the main reason behind Shearer’s optimism of Leeds getting a result this weekend, in his predictions shared via The Metro.

He said: “With Leeds playing at home and Tottenham being away in the Champions League during the week, it won’t be an easy game.
“I’ll go for a draw.”
Leeds could be playing Tottenham at a good time
Spurs have won just one of their last four, and that was a Carabao Cup encounter with Doncaster Rovers.
Outside of that, Frank’s side have drawn to Bodo, Wolves and Brighton, all of which are fairly poor results for a side who will be looking to finish in the top four this season.
Given the fact that it is their third game in a week, there will be some signs of fatigue, and Frank could be forced into making some changes at Elland Road.
Regardless, the Whites will be the underdogs, but as showcased several times already this season, that label often plays into their hands.
