Alan Shearer predicts Nottingham Forest disaster vs Leeds United in relegation scrap
Nottingham Forest can’t afford to drop points against Leeds United in the Premier League on Sunday, Alan Shearer says.
The Newcastle United legend fears for Daniel Farke’s team as they travel to the City Ground on 9 November, with the Whites four points ahead of the relegation zone.
Opta’s supercomputer expects Premier League survival at Elland Road, but the West Yorkshire outfit’s situation isn’t the most enviable.
The game against Forest can surely be considered a six-pointer for the Peacocks, as both teams aim to survive the drop.

Nottingham Forest to beat Leeds United at City Ground
Shearer has predicted that Leeds won’t be able to cope with Forest’s quality at the City Ground.
The Premier League icon feels the Tricky Trees will have taken confidence from their 2-2 draw against Manchester United on 1 November, with plenty of improvements seen under Sean Dyche.
Shearer believes it’d be a “disaster” for Forest to drop points at home, with the travelling Elland Road faithful set for disappointment.
The ex-striker wrote in the Metro on 7 November: “It’d be a disaster for Forest to drop points at home to what is going to be one of their rivals in the bottom half of the league. There were plenty of improvements last weekend against Man United, which they’ll take confidence from, and I think they’ll have too much for Leeds.”
Daniel Farke will have Willy Gnonto available at the City Ground, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Sebastiaan Bornauw have picked up a fitness issue, although the Tricky Trees are also dealing with several injuries.
The German manager has a clear goal in LS11 — to avoid relegation — and failure to achieve that will certainly lead to his sacking sooner rather than later.

Daniel Farke to rectify three mistakes vs Nottingham Forest
Farke has relied on Brenden Aaronson in recent matches, and while he has made some significant contributions, he was poor in the 3-0 loss to Brighton on 1 November.
Daniel James should start over the USA international at the City Ground, with Gnonto capable of making an impact off the bench.
Ao Tanaka was also underwhelming at the Amex Stadium, and Anton Sach should be reinstated into the starting lineup.
The third change the German manager should make is to drop Jaka Bijol and continue to keep faith in Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk’s partnership against Dyche’s team, but it remains to be seen what the starting lineup will look like.
