
Alan Shearer names ‘incredible’ Leeds star in Team of the Week after what he did vs Wolves
One Leeds United ace made it into Alan Shearer’s best 11 of the week after his role in the win away to Wolves.
Leeds secured an emphatic 3-1 victory away to Wolves on Saturday, and a performance that showcases what several players have to offer.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored his first Leeds goal and generally impressed with his all-round performance at Molineux.
However, it wasn’t the 28-year-old that caught the eye of Shearer; instead, it was one of his teammates who produced a moment of magic in the game.

Not just his goal, but his contributions at both ends of the pitch played a huge role in the Whites’ first away win of the season.
Troy Deeney was blown away by Stach’s performance against Wolves, sentiments echoed by Shearer, who named the German in his Premier League Team of the Week.

Anton Stach was a bargain buy for Leeds
It took just £17million to bring Stach to Elland Road, and after just five games, you can already tell that he will prove to be worth every single penny.
So far this season, Stach has created a remarkable 12 Premier League chances, with two goal contributions to his name.
Via FotMob, he has completed 148 passes in that time, with 69.2 per cent of his long balls reaching their desired target.
Defensively, he has also been exceptional, winning 60.4 per cent of his duels, nine of which have been in the air.
If Stach can maintain these levels of performance throughout the campaign, he could provide to be a big reason as to why Leeds avoid the drop.
