Alan Nixon: Leeds will ‘surely’ complete Lewis O’Brien deal
Leeds United will “surely” announce the signing of Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O’Brien this month, according to Alan Nixon.
The Sun journalist has shared multiple updates on the hunt, with the 22-year-old now the main target at Elland Road.
O’Brien is currently stuck in isolation after missing the Championship opener on Saturday with a positive COVID-19 test.

Fans have started to question if the move can be completed soon, especially after the weekend’s developments.
Writing on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday morning, Nixon shared the major claim on the future of O’Brien.
“Haggling, but not really massive money involved,” he said.
“So, surely that gets done.”
Haggling hard.
With O’Brien said to have a price tag of up to £10million, it is easy to see why Leeds want to bring that price down if possible.
The Whites only spent a couple of million pounds more on Junior Firpo, a Barcelona player, compared to the 22-year-old, who has never played higher than the Championship.
Nixon expects it to happen, but the fan who asked him the question makes a good point, what if someone hijacks the move?
Burnley have been linked with O’Brien before, and if they were to come back and throw £10million at Huddersfield, it would leave us with a decision to make.
There is an isolation period to finish first, and once that is done, a medical would be allowed to happen at Thorpe Arch.
Hopefully, Victor Orta can agree a fee this week and then the formalities can be completed after the Manchester United clash.
