Alan Brazil shares ‘flying’ Leeds United admission in new promotion verdict
Leeds United are currently “flying” in the Championship according to Alan Brazil and the talkSPORT presenter has admitted he wants to see the Whites continue their recent run.
Daniel Farke’s side sit third in the Championship, 16 points clear of seventh-placed Coventry City and only one point behind Southampton in the second automatic promotion spot with 16 league matches left to play this term.
With the race for an immediate return to the Premier League well and truly on, Brazil has backed the job that Farke and his team are doing at Elland Road and has revealed his hope that the Whites maintain their good form.
Speaking to a caller on talkSPORT on Friday (9 February, 6:23) he said: “Listen, on a positive note, you boys (Leeds United) are flying, aren’t you?
“Have a good weekend, I hope you boys keep it going.”
Daniel Farke has Leeds United ‘flying’ to the Premier League
After a summer of chaos following relegation to the Championship from the Premier League, it is safe to say that Farke has managed to transform the entire mood around Leeds United and bring the club and its supporters together.
The German has genuinely reignited promotion hopes, not only among supporters but pundits as well, with many coming forward to voice their confidence in the Whites’ chances of making an immediate return to English football’s top flight.

There is still plenty of football to be played between now and the end of the season and nothing has been decided quite yet, but momentum is with Leeds and they are in an excellent position to win promotion if they keep “flying” in the Championship.
Hopefully, Farke and his team will be able to continue this recent run as Brazil suggested and continue their rise up the Championship table. It’s the business end of the season now and the points could matter now more than ever before.
