Alan Brazil mocks Leeds United after Chelsea development in FA Cup
Alan Brazil seems to have mocked Leeds United fans for their song Marching on Together as he shared his early prediction for their FA Cup clash against Chelsea.
Chelsea emerged from the crisis that has cast a cloud over the club in stunning fashion as they comprehensively outclassed Aston Villa in their FA Cup fourth-round replay at Villa Park on Wednesday (7 February).
Mauricio Pochettino’s men now face Daniel Farke’s Leeds United at Stamford Bridge on 28 February, who secured their place with a 4-1 extra-time win over Plymouth (6 February).
And Brazil sharing his early prediction ahead of the game live on talkSPORT (8 February, 8:09 am) seemed to have aimed a sly jibe at the Whites.
He said: “By the way, they’ve got Leeds United in the next round who are flying, but Chelsea are at home so there’s every chance they could be the ones marching on.”
Pochettino must beware of the threat Leeds United pose
Brazil will surely have riled up the Leeds United faithful with that sly dig live on air and he shouldn’t be so confident about a potential Chelsea win at Stamford Bridge given the threat Farke’s men pose.
The Whites have been terrific under the German this season and have easily been one of the exciting teams in the Championship as they aim to seal an automatic promotion back to the Premier League.
As well as their Championship aspirations, the Leeds United faithful will be hoping for a fairytale FA Cup run and a win over the Blues at Stamford Bridge would go a long way in achieving that.
Chelsea have been a shambles in the Premier League this season and cannot be judged as favourites for the game despite both teams placing in the English football pyramid right now.
The Whites are arguably still very much as big as Chelsea in terms of history.
Leeds United have some tremendous attacking weaponry at their disposal that could really hurt Pochettino’s men.

Crycensio Summerville, Wilfried Gnonto, Patrick Bamford, Georginio Rutter and Daniel James are the flagship names in Farke’s squad but they aren’t the only players capable of causing a riot in West London so Brazil’s sly dig at Leeds United could well come back to haunt him and Chelsea.
In other Leeds United news, Farke deserves praise for a tactical decision he has made at Elland Road.
