Aggressive wages update emerges as Leeds United to hand Daniel Farke transfer budget this summer
Daniel Farke will be looking to make the most of this summer transfer window as he was officially announced as Leeds United manager on 4 July.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post [04 July], the German will be given an “aggressive wage bill” and back him significantly with a transfer budget.
Due to relegation, a number of players could leave so there might be an overhaul to the first-team squad in the coming weeks.

Back him
Leeds saw what happened when Marcelo Bielsa was backed – he guided them to a top half finish in his first season back in the Premier League.
Then, instead of handing him the funds to compete in the following summer, they gave him below average signings to work with.
Realising their mistake, they then shattered their transfer record and spent astronomical fees in January, only to sack Jesse Marsch a few days later.

These kinds of mistakes are what led them to become a Championship club once again and they cannot operate like how the old ownership did.
Angus Kinnear is still part of the current boardroom but he should not be given too much of a say as he made some poor decisions under Andrea Radrizzani.
Hopefully, Farke along with interim football advisor Nick Hammond will make the right calls and set this team on course to regain promotion.
In other Leeds United news, the club have been handed a boost to sign a Manchester United player this summer with Erik ten Hag likely to sanction his exit.
