Adrian Durham loves new Leeds signing set to be a Premier League star
Leeds United face a long and hard season as they try to stay up in the Premier League.
Daniel Farke‘s side have been tipped for relegation by many ahead of the new campaign, with the Opta supercomputer predicting Leeds to finish in 19th position.
However, the Elland Road outfit will be looking to prove their doubters wrong and retain their place in the top flight.
They have signed the likes of Sean Longstaff, Jaka Bijol and Gabriel Gudmundsson to help their efforts, but another new addition has been tipped to star.

Stach is ‘crucial’ as Leeds return to the Premier League
Anton Stach may be the best of Leeds’ signings this summer, as the towering German has been a revelation in their pre-season preparations.
talkSPORT host Adrian Durham has been impressed by what he has witnessed from the 26-year-old and has picked him as his one to watch this season.
Speaking live on air (11 August, 16:52), he said: “I’m actually going for a midfielder, Leeds’ new signing Anton Stach, German international.
“The reason is, Leeds scored a lot of goals last season as they won the division. I think they needed to strengthen at the back; they have done so, I am including the midfield in that.
“He is going to be absolutely crucial, they have got Ao Tanaka, a terrific player. I could have picked him, but this guy Stach has been great in pre-season, I think those kinds of players are going to be all-important.”
Leeds need Stach to step up this season
If the Whites are to have any chance of survival, they need the likes of Stach and Longstaff to step up in the engine room.
Stach’s display in the friendly with AC Milan (9 August) was very encouraging as he won the most duels of any Leeds player, and completed more recoveries than any of his teammates.
His imposing presence in midfield will be a huge benefit for Farke as he already looks like an experienced top-flight star, despite never playing in England previously.
He is composed on and off the ball, and that is exactly what the LS11 outfit needs from the former Hoffenheim ace.
If he can translate his pre-season displays into the best league in the world, then he may be the difference maker for the Peacocks, as Durham claims he will be.
It seems that he has adapted to the English game after just weeks with the Whites, and he looks likely to go from strength to strength in Yorkshire.
Leeds’ next issue may be whether they can keep hold of the German international, if he replicates what he has shown so far at the elite level.
