Adrian Durham: Kalvin Phillips could consider Leeds exit after Man Utd clash

Adrian Durham has insisted that Kalvin Phillips will be considering leaving Leeds United after the 5-1 defeat against Manchester United.

The Yorkshire Pirlo was left on the bench after being deemed not prepared enough and didn’t even get on the pitch at Old Trafford.

Durham has launched an attack on Marcelo Bielsa too, claiming that Phillips will believe he is good enough for his first 11.

Speaking on talkSPORT this evening, Durham launched the ludicrous attack on the decisions made this weekend.

“Phillips has an amazing EUROs,” he said.

“He’s got noticed across Europe, there will be bigger clubs than Leeds have looked and thought Phillips is decent.

“First game, he’s been left out by Bielsa. Phillips must be scratching his head thinking ‘hang on a minute, we’re going to United where we got battered and he’s saying I’m not good enough to be in the first team. What’s the point of me not even thinking of moves elsewhere, when he’s not playing me’.”

Get a grip.

We can’t believe what we are listening too, here.

Bielsa demands that high intensity for the entire 90 minutes, and although it didn’t go well, Phillips will have understood.

The Yorkshire Pirlo will be straight back into the starting XI for the Everton clash on Saturday afternoon, and this will all be forgotten about.

Why on this earth would Phillips start to think about leaving because he missed one game? Yes, it was a huge spectacle, but one player doesn’t come before the team.

Durham is one of the best of saying ridiculous statements that will get people sharing and talking about talkSPORT, but even this one is ludicrous for him.
