Adama Traore now dubbed most realistic new Leeds United transfer this summer
Wolves winger Adama Traore has now been dubbed as the most realistic new signing for Leeds United between now and the deadline, according to 90min.
The online outlet has also shared that Illan Meslier is the most realistic new arrival for Leicester City in the next couple of weeks, judging how actually realistic the list is.
Traore has consistently been linked with a switch to Elland Road, with Victor Orta known for his close relationship to the player from their time at Middlesbrough together.
Writing on their official Twitter account, 90min shared the list of players that could be on the move between now and the end of the month in a deadline-busting new twist.
“Which player does your club realistically need to sign before the window shuts?” they wrote.
Wolves may be open to selling the Spaniard, but we don’t think Leeds will be open to a move.
Traore can not play through the middle, and we have strengthened out wide so far this summer to replace Raphinha with the likes of Luis Sinisterra and Brenden Aaronson who have both featured there.
So far, Rodrigo has played centrally with the American international playing out wide and cutting in, Traore would stay out wide and bomb up and down.
Naturally, he would be a real weapon but the need for a left-back and another striker outweighs that dramatically between now and the end of August.
Worryingly, no progress appears to have been made on those fronts, so we hardly see anything going into bringing Traore to West Yorkshire in a deadline-busting move.
Jesse Marsch will have all eyes on Chelsea right now, nevermind transfers, with Orta needing to pull his finger out alongside Andrea Radrizzani to get some business done.
The Premier League phenomenon for his power and speed isn’t on our minds.
