Adam Forshaw yet to return after hip injection in Leeds United injury news
Adam Forshaw is yet to return for action for Leeds United after having an injection to fix a long-term injury issue, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Thursday’s (16 February) report claims the midfielder has been bothered by a “hip issue” that has been plaguing him for two seasons.
It goes on to say he has had an injection in the hopes of finally resolving the issue.

Forshaw has been noticeably absent from all club media in recent weeks, including behind-the-scenes footage such as training videos.
The 31-year-old has been limited to five Premier League appearances this season though two of those have been starts.
His last outing came as he played 45 minutes against Newcastle United on New Year’s Eve.

Reasons to be hopeful
Finally, some answers. Word on Forshaw’s condition has been hard to come by in recent weeks.
The midfielder’s injury problems are well documented and fans can only help to fear the worst when he is absent from a matchday squad with little explanation.
It seems like the injury issues never stop with Forshaw. Many feared for his career after his last significant injury kept him out of action for well over a year.
As per Transfermakrt, he missed 560 days with a hip injury as his versatility was missed by both Marcelo Bielsa and Jesse Marsch.

The fact he managed to make 22 top-flight appearances last season came as a surprise to many. In 17 of those games, he was in from the start and completed 14 of those games.
In fact, in a run between 27 November 2021 and 1 February 2022, Forshaw did not miss a minute of league action.
Few Leeds fans would have expected that. His experience and versatility could be of real use to the Whites in their current predicament.
Now there is a reason for his prolonged absence, hopefully, the clock is ticking on his return to action.
