Accusations fly around Elland Road as Leeds concede only two Daniel Farke signings have been success stories
Daniel Farke is under pressure at Leeds United and a poor summer transfer window is part of the reason why.
Leeds were beaten 3-2 by Manchester City on Saturday, meaning they are still in the Premier League relegation zone as it stands.
Phil Foden grabbed a last-minute winner for Pep Guardiola’s side, after the Whites had produced a spirited second-half comeback to draw level from 2-0.
Foden’s late striker rendered goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha useless, and it has now emerged that the pair are among the summer signings that have failed to impress the Leeds hierarchy.

Leeds question Daniel Farke’s recruitment
Farke was backed heavily by Leeds in the summer transfer window spending over £100million on 10 separate signings.
The likes of Anton Stach, Noah Okafor, Jaka Bijol and Lucas Perri all came in, as the Whites worked to build a squad capable of avoiding an immediate return to the Championship.
However, according to The Guardian, some people at the club have raised concerns about the quality of Farke’s recruitment, and are questioning a number of his summer signings.
Reportedly, the additions of Sean Longstaff from Newcastle United and Gabriel Gudmundsson from Lille are the only two transfers regarded as a success internally.
Farke came close to being sacked during the summer and the underwhelming signings, combined with Leeds’ poor results, leaves the German on very thin ice.

Brendan Rodgers touted as Daniel Farke replacement at Leeds
Brendan Rodgers is eager to return to Premier League management after dramatically resigning from Celtic earlier this season.
With Farke under pressure, Rodgers has been touted as a potential option for Leeds, who are eager to avoid an immediate return to the Championship.
The Northern Irishman has a track record of success in English football, specifically in the top flight, across spells at Swansea City, Liverpool and Leicester.
Due to his previous achievements and the fact that he is currently out of work, Rodgers stands out as the obvious candidate for Leeds if they decide that Farke is no longer up to the task.
