AC Milan chiefs fail to reach conclusion to sign Leeds United target Charles De Ketelaere
AC Milan chiefs reportedly met with Club Brugge on July 20 to discuss the signing of Leeds United target Charles De Ketelaere.
According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport (July 21, Page 2), the meeting was cordial but not conclusive and they expect to continue talks over the weekend as well.
Leeds are still in the race to sign the 21-year-old and will jump right in should Milan fail to agree terms with Club Brugge.

Dragging on
This soap opera just keeps going on and on and it’s akin to the entire Raphinha saga with Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona.
The player wants Milan but if they cannot afford him then he should be on his way to Leeds.
It does sound simple in principle but it’s quite hard to make sense of why it’s taking so long as Milan are constantly trying to drive down the price.
However, if Brugge are seeing their valuation met by Leeds, there’s no reason for them to settle for less as the Belgian is one of their prized assets.
Further meetings are expected in the coming days and while Leeds are already working on other targets, in the back of their minds, they will still have the 21-year-old as their desired target.
Hopefully, they get a conclusive answer one way or another so that they can finally put this saga to bed and move on to better things.
In other Leeds United news, Jesse Marsch is extremely keen on bringing an ‘Exceptional’ striker to Elland Road this summer and has learnt his transfer valuation.
