‘Absolutely massive’ – Ally McCoist shares new Leeds United relegation view today live on talkSPORT
Ally McCoist has expressed his relegation fears for Leeds United as another four goals were conceded in the defeat to Bournemouth on Sunday.
Speaking in his usual role on the talkSPORT breakfast show, the Rangers legend gave an “absolutely massive” verdict, in what is a time of worry at Elland Road.
Just four games remain for Leeds to save their Premier League status with Javi Gracia’s side in a run of wretched form.

When asked for his view on Leeds’ chances of staying up, McCoist’s response wasn’t a positive one.
“I’m not sure,” he said [01 May, 07:25].
“I saw them and it ended up not a bad point (in) the Leicester game, that was massive, absolutely massive.
“I really am worried about them, you cannot lose the amount of goals Leeds United are losing and expect to stay in the division.”

Wrong direction
Leeds are in the relegation mire, that is for sure.
It is now six games since the last win for the Whites with Gracia seemingly unable to impact the current downward spiral. It was too easy for Bournemouth on Sunday as the defensive frailties were exposed yet again.
Next up is Manchester City at home followed by Newcastle United away, so it is very difficult to see where the next points are going to come from.
The only meaningful hope of avoiding a return to the Championship is if the other clubs around the drop zone continue to falter, resulting in a final-day scramble to survive.
Just one point separates the Whites from the relegation places in the Premier League table at present, but Monday evening’s clash between Leicester City and Everton will be of obvious interest to all at Elland Road.
With the club heading in the wrong direction, a new way has to be found.
