Abdul Fatawu sends Crysencio Summerville message ahead of Leeds United play-off final
Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu has sent Crysencio Summerville a message as Leeds United prepare to face Southampton in the playoff final.
Summerville scored the fourth and final goal of the game as Leeds beat Norwich City 4-0 at Elland Road to book their place at Wembley.
The Whites attacker took to social media following the victory, posting a series of pictures – mostly from the game.
And Fatawu responded via his personal Instagram account [17 May], posting: “My G.”
Can Crysencio Summerville steer Leeds United to playoff success?
Summerville has enjoyed a sensational season for Leeds, blossoming from a raw academy graduate into the team’s talisman – and attracting plenty of admiring glances in the process.
His goal against the Canaries at Elland Road took his tally across all competitions for the season to an impressive 21 in 3,817 minutes across 48 appearances – especially considering he also has 10 assists to his name.
The left winger is constantly creating shooting opportunities for himself or others through a combination of incisive passing, fearless ball-carrying and sharp movement into dangerous positions.

His opposite number at Wembley is likely to be Saints full-back Kyle Walker-Peters, whose propensity to bomb forward could leave space for the Dutchman to exploit.
Summerville was deservedly named the Championship’s Player of the Season in April, beating out fierce competition from a number of other worthy candidates, and will hope to cap off an oustanding season by winning the playoffs and securing promotion back to the Premier League.
