£64k/wk PL speed machine left out of squad as Leeds make approach for late summer deal – report
Ryan Sessegnon will be “farmed out in the coming days” after getting frustrated at his lack of game-time at Tottenham, according to the Scottish Daily Mail.
The report claims he was left out of the Tottenham Carabao Cup squad this week with a late transfer now seeming very likely.
According to the report, Leeds have now made an approach for the rapid left-sided player but the report claims that Celtic are the favourites to land the 20-year-old on loan.
Teamtalk claims that Sessegnon is on a meaty £64k-a-week at Tottenham.
Sessegnon surely not for Leeds
Sessegnon has been mentioned a few times this window in connection with Leeds but we’d be surprised if he joined on loan.

He’s obviously far from the finished product at the moment but he wants game-time and he’s not going to get that at Leeds.
Stuart Dallas and Jack Harrison have the left flank positions sewn up and while cover would be good, cover isn’t what Sessegnon wants.
Tottenham will know from the Eddie Nketiah loan that Sessegnon is highly likely to sit on the bench and be used as a late sub in games and that’s probably not what they want for a player they’re paying a lot of money for.
It also doesn’t make sense for Leeds to pay a sub £64k-a-week.
We’d be surprised if Celtic can afford his wages but we’d be even more surprised to see Sessegnon as a Leeds player come Monday.
