49ers Willy Gnonto jackpot on cards at Leeds United as European news emerges
Leeds United are reportedly willing to sell Willy Gnonto for £17million – and that could see the 49ers kickstart their tenure with a significant jackpot.
The Daily Mail reported on 2 September (2022) that the 19-year-old was signed for £3.8million. Since then, the diminutive Italian has been one of the standout performers at Elland Road.
Following Leeds’ relegation from the Premier League, there has been talk of Gnonto wanting to exit, which cannot come as a surprise.

Calcio Mercato claim on 14 June that the winger is attracting interest from Fiorentina and both Milan clubs. It’s believed Leeds value Gnonto in the region of £17million.
It doesn’t take a genius to work out that the 49ers could well be in line for a significant profit off the back of work done by Andrea Radrizzani and Victor Orta.
£13.2million in profit could well be made.

For one season’s work, that’s by no means bad business.
In fact, the 49ers’ purchase of the club is looking rather shrewd. They’ve managed to acquire Leeds for a knockdown price, however, the squad is littered with big-money players.
Tyler Adams and Jack Harrison for example. Adams has been linked with a £30million exit and Harrison could well muster a fee in the region of £20million. There’s another £50million right there.
Of course, the new ownership are unlikely to asset strip – but the one-sided nature of their agreement with Radrizzani has certainly come to the fore.
Leeds’ former owner could well be kicking himself at present.
In other Leeds United news, Newcastle United want to sign one Whites man to help unleash Bruno Guimaraes.
