49ers Enterprises could ditch Leeds United takeover after development in last 24hrs
San Francisco 49ers may reportedly decide to step away from Leeds United for good after relegation was confirmed on Sunday, 28 May.
The Whites suffered a 4-1 defeat at home to Spurs in what was a must-win game for them.
In the end, even a win would not have kept them up as Everton and Leicester both won their respective games which confirmed relegation for Leeds.

In the Independent [29 May] it’s being written, “They may yet lose prospective owners if the San Francisco 49ers decide they do not want a Championship club.”
Shameful
The 49ers seemed like a serious sporting franchise that could right the wrongs at Leeds and bring back the good times.
However, they may steer clear knowing how challenging the Championship can be and it’s hard to blame them for that.
Lots of big clubs have gotten relegated and have never managed to come back up so to think that Leeds are immune from that is naive.

They’ve got to plan very well this summer and ensure that mistakes from the past aren’t being made again as there’s a likelihood of that happening.
Angus Kinnear needs to be shown the door too as he’s responsible too for the mess that the club are currently in.
No official confirmation has come in thus far so it’s interesting to see how things pan out and hopefully, Radrizzani can agree on a lower price.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that an international player at Elland Road has no place at the club next season and a summer transfer is on the cards.
