'Wow that's shocking', 'God help us' – These Leeds fans fume at EFL update for clash v Hudd'fld
The EFL has announced that Oliver Langford will officiate the game against Huddersfield at Elland Road on Saturday and Leeds United fans are fuming.
Langford reffed the recent loss against Nottingham Forest and he’s also officiated over two other defeats and one draw this season.
Our personal view on Langford is that he isn’t the worst in the Championship.
That doesn’t say a lot with some of the refs that we’ve seen this season but it’s something.
However, plenty of fans are looking to the EFL and see this appointment as another part of the agenda against Leeds.
All we can say is that if it’s a conspiracy, it’s a deep-seated one that spreads across organisations as it’s the PGMOL who decides the match officials. The EFL just announce the decision.
Saying that, there’s enough general disdain for Langford from the Leeds fans to put a big spotlight on him in the game.
Hopefully, we can get our first win this season under him on Saturday and he doesn’t get any major decisions wrong.
It’s a game that Leeds should dominate and should win if the decision-making is fair.
In the meantime, here are the best reactions from fans to the prospect of Langford refereeing us again…
Oh god.

So first fa push for a ten game ban for kiko now giving us the worst referees the FL can possibly conjure up. FL and FA very worried about losing their cash cow I see

We think one Leeds fan had it right when he said, “Take him out of the equation by scoring a few, easy!”
That’s the spirit!
