It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan has fired a warning to Leeds United ahead of their return to the Premier League.

Talking on the White & Sawyer show (talkSPORT, Tuesday, 10am), he said that Leeds needed to plot a path somewhere between the thrifty Norwich and the "silly" spending of Aston Villa and Fulham.

Norwich have already been relegated and Aston Villa could follow them despite beating Arsenal this week.

"Let’s get context about what they [Leeds] have done," Jordan said.

"Now they’re back in the Premier League it will be fascinating to see what their approach is.

"There’s an assumption that Leeds will finish in the top 10. Where did that come from? That’s not a given. Aston Villa would have assumed, one of the biggest clubs in the UK, that they would land safely.

"It’s easy to suggest that people have a silver bullet. I try and balance it. Somewhere between Norwich not really having a go and Aston Villa and Fulham being silly.

"I would think they’d be happy with what Brighton have done. The best thing about ambition is it drives the club forward. The worst, if it doesn’t come off it creates disillusionment."

Jordan knows a thing or two about running a Premier League club on a budget and he talks a lot of sense when it comes to things like this.

Leeds fans might dream of the top 10 and Sheffield United have shown it's possible. However, it looks like the other two sides that went up last season are coming straight back down, and avoiding that fate has to be Leeds' number one aim.

Radrizzani talked about Sheffield United in a recent interview with the media.

He said that consolidation would be the aim for the next two or three seasons before an attack on the top six.

Leeds fans know all about taking crazy gambles on success and while these are heady days, we'll be keeping our head on our shoulders.

Promotion to the Premier League is a success. Staying there is essential.

We think in Radrizzani and Bielsa, Leeds have the perfect team.
