This is why Jayden Bogle misses out in Leeds vs Manchester United

Leeds United finally welcome Manchester United to Elland Road again in the Premier League.

Leeds take on Man United on 4 January, looking to continue their six-game unbeaten streak and create more of a gap to the relegation zone.

Ruben Amorim is facing pelters from every direction at Old Trafford, while Daniel Farke continues to receive plaudits for his work in LS11.

Leeds have been forced into changes versus the Red Devils, though, with Ethan Ampadu suspended and Jayden Bogle nowhere to be seen.

Bogle was rested until the final moments of Leeds’ 0-0 draw at Liverpool on Thursday, with that the final game for yellow card suspensions in the Premier League.

Despite that, he is nowhere to be seen on Sunday.

Graham Smyth has revealed that the defender has a minor calf issue, meaning he is likely to return for the trip to St James’ Park against Newcastle in midweek.

Thankfully for Leeds, James Justin was unbelievable at Anfield and will look to do the same again.

James Justin set for massive Leeds chance

Weirdly, Justin’s three starts in the Premier League have been against Man City, Liverpool and now Man United.

That is a huge ask for the ex-Leicester man to come in and do a job, but he has more than held his own against the very best in the Premier League.

Justin was awarded the Man of the Match award at Anfield on Thursday, but he will be tasked with a more offensive role against the Red Devils.

Man United are missing a large core of their squad, especially in the final third, with Bruno Fernandes, Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbuemo all out, so Leeds will have the impetus.

With Gabriel Gudmundsson flying down the other wing, the Whites will be looking to put the Man United goal under siege, and Justin will have a big role to play in that.

The England international has scored his fair share of goals in the past, what would we all do for another one of those today.
