Leeds United have been given the green light to resume contact training at Thorp Arch as the move towards the June 20 kick-off continues.
The EFL contacted Leeds on Tuesday morning to approve their risk assessment form that was sent last week.
The news was relayed by Athletic journalist Phil Hay on his Twitter account and it means that Leeds can resume full training as of now.

Hay added that a number of other clubs are getting the go-ahead, too.
It’s a major boost for Leeds but we feel for the players. We think Marcelo Bielsa – after 10 or 11 weeks off – is going to run the rule over his players. And it’s a hot day.
A stickler for fitness at the best of time, he will know how critical it is that the Leeds players hit the ground running on June 20.
As for the fans, it’s unusual but the overwhelming feeling is that of optimism after hearing the news.
One said, “The league is ours”, while another said that Leeds wouldn’t lose another game this season.
We can’t wait for the first game of the season to kick-off on the weekend of June 20 and we guarantee that Leeds fans won’t be feeling the same way then.
Nerves will kick in as the reality of the next nine games sink in.
Until then, we can enjoy yet another huge boost on the road back to the Premier League.

By the sounds of the way some clubs have approached training since March, our opponents will be absolutely shagged trying to keep up after 15 minutes

The League is ours, getting back to our style of play whilst others piss and moan with their million excuses to not restart.
Ill stand by my claim, even increase it, that we won’t lose another Game this Season
Get into ‘em Leeds! 👊
