talkSPORT set to broadcast Leeds United documentary special on Monday
The party goes on for Leeds United after the club was promoted back to the Premier League for the first time in 16 years.
The fans are getting an idea of what it’s like to be back in the big time, with a special documentary on Sky Sports on Marcelo Bielsa, and big-name pundits giving their verdicts on Leeds coming back to the top-flight.
talkSPORT is getting in on the act, too, with an hour-long special documentary presented by Jermaine Beckford going out this morning on talkSPORT 2 at 10am.
Called Leeds: Ups and Downs, the documentary looks at the club’s 16-year exile from the Premier League with special guests including Simon Grayson, Bradley Johnson, Brian Deane, Gus Poyet, and Josh Warrington.
It’s almost impossible to turn on the TV or radio and not hear about Leeds at the moment – and it’s absolutely brilliant.
The 19/20 season has been so drawn out and so agonising that the last few weeks have gone by in an absolute whirlwind.
And it’s going to carry on like that for the foreseeable future.
The next six weeks will be dominated by transfer news as Leeds look to strengthen for life in the Premier League.
A new centre-back and striker are the priorities but we think the bulk of the squad will stay the same.
Bielsa himself is still to confirm his future at the club but we fully expect him to sign a new contract – hopefully the two-year deal that’s been reported.
And the Premier League itself is set to start in about six weeks.
It’s a hugely exciting time, but in the meantime, you can tune into talkSPORT this morning and get the last 16 years out of your system.
