Supercomputer predicts exactly what’ll happen when Leeds face Everton
Leeds United return to Premier League action on Monday when they take on Everton at Elland Road.
It’s the first time Leeds have been in the top flight since the 2022-23 season, and Daniel Farke’s side will be desperate to start their campaign with a win.
The Whites have been busy in the transfer window, signing experienced internationals like Anton Stach and Jaka Bijol to strengthen their side.
After some promising pre-season results against the likes of AC Milan and Villarreal, Leeds fans will fancy their chances of taking some points from Everton in this opening game.

Leeds slight favourites vs Everton
Everton have spent slightly more than Leeds in this transfer window, but the Toffees still look short of strength in depth.
They have also lost the talismanic defender Jarrod Branthwaite to a hamstring injury in the last couple of days.
Leeds have a poor record against Everton in the Premier League, having failed to win any of their last five games against them.

However, the supercomputer still makes them slight favourites to win the game at Elland Road on Monday.
According to Opta Analyst, the supercomputer gives Leeds a 40.1 per cent chance of winning, while Everton would win on 33.3 per cent of occasions. That means there’s a 26.6 per cent chance likelihood that the game will end in a draw.

Leeds have every reason to be confident of beating Everton
Farke has built a strong and experienced Leeds side during the summer transfer window.
The spine of the team looks particularly dependable with:
- Lucas Perri in goal
- Bijol marshalling the defence
- Stach and Sean Longstaff in midfield
If there was one position where Leeds fans would like to strengthen, it might be up front.
Lukas Nmecha has been brought in from Wolfsburg, but he’s unproven in the Premier League, and doubts remain about whether Joel Piroe can step up to this level.
Even so, there should be enough in this Leeds team to take all three points against Everton on Monday.
The Toffees only scored 42 Premier League goals last season and still look short of firepower going into the new season.
With Branthwaite set to miss this match through injury, Leeds should be confident of outscoring their opponents and taking all three points from their opening game.
