Super Computer shares new Leeds United relegation prediction after late Premier League twist
Leeds United have seen their chances of survival slightly increase despite getting a last-gasp equaliser to draw with Brighton on Sunday (15 May), according to a Super Computer.
After losing to Chelsea last week, FiveThirtyEight’s data suggested the Whites had a 65 per cent chance of returning to the Championship this season.
After drawing 1-1 with Brighton at Elland Road, combined with Burnley’s 1-0 defeat to Tottenham earlier in the day, Leeds now have a 63 per cent chance of going down.

Really? 63%?
Burnley have one more game to play than Leeds.
However, we have the points on the board and are in a better position than Burnley, who have dropped to 18th in the wake of the results on Sunday.
We cannot believe that they have just a 34 per cent chance of being relegated.
We can see why Everton aren’t being looked at anymore really because they do seem as though they’re pretty safe.
However, Burnley are as in as much trouble as we are and you’d think it’s more of a 50:50 split on who could go down because both teams have their advantages and disadvantages.
Leeds, in our opinion, have the biggest advantage – the high ground.
We’re above the managerless Clarets, who’ve just lost a couple of games and there’s a chance that Aston Villa and Newcastle could build on some of their impressive displays against them.
Leeds only have one game to play – that’s our major disadvantage – while goal difference is also a big issue for the Whites.
It’s going to be a really nerve-wracking week.
Let’s hope Villa and Newcastle do us a favour while we’re also hoping that Jesse Marsch and his men can do their bit and simply get a win against Brentford.
In other Leeds United news, Paul Merson has destroyed this “weak” Leeds player for what he did against Brighton.
