Super Computer predicts where Leeds will finish in Premier League after 3 big wins
Leeds United have already secured a top-half finish in the Premier League but they could finish as high as eighth if they win their final game of the season against West Brom on Sunday.
Other results would have to go their way and while they could get the same number of points as Tottenham, the goal difference is too big to finish above Spurs.
Top prediction site FiveThirtyEight believes that Leeds will finish in 10th, just behind Everton and Arsenal.
It gives us a 25% shot at finishing 9th and an 8% chance of finishing 8th.
FiveThirtyEight have got it wrong
Okay, we might be biased but we think FiveThirtyEight has got this one wrong.
Leeds have a very winnable game against West Brom at home on Sunday.
Everton travel to the Etihad to play Man City and are just as likely to get spanked as come away with anything from that game.
Arsenal play Brighton who are finishing the season on a high after beating Man City.
We think there’s a very good chance that we’ll finish ninth on Sunday and an outside shot of ending in eighth, just one place off the European places.
It’s a phenomenal achievement but Leeds fans will look back at dropped points against Brighton and Wolves and wonder ‘What if?’
Maximum points against those sides, who finished below us in the Premier League, would have seen us challenging for a Champions League spot on Sunday.
