Stuart Dallas blown away by ‘fantastic’ Jayden Bogle after Leeds turnaround
Stuart Dallas has hailed Jayden Bogle as a “fantastic” player after being impressed by his progress at Leeds United.
Speaking at half-time in the Whites’ 2-0 win against Norwich City on Wednesday (22 January), the Elland Road favourite opined that the 24-year-old is doing a great job of replacing Luke Ayling as the team’s first-choice right-back.
Dallas also tipped his hat to Bogle for turning things around in West Yorkshire after being the subject of criticism at the start of the season.
“He’s formed a really, really good relationship with Dan James and obviously Brendan [Aaronson] in the hole there as well”, Dallas at half-time on LUTV (22 January, 8:47 pm).
“The three of them are combining really, really well and he’s getting forward and obviously as the season has gone on, he’s grown more and more into the role, which is fantastic to see because he has big boots to fill in Luke Ayling.
“Bill was known as a really attacking full-back and Jayden is doing really, really well.
“He obviously got a bit of criticism at the start of the season, but he’s doing fantastic and it’s it’s good to see.”
Jayden Bogle excellent in Leeds United win v Norwich
Bogle was one of the standout performers for Leeds United as they earned a comfortable victory over Norwich and returned to the top of the Championship table.
With the Canaries struggling to test the Whites’ defence, the former Sheffield United ace stepped up to help out in attack on multiple occasions.
He also had a part to play in Manor Solomon’s opener, which came just 31 seconds into the game, playing a lovely backheel pass to Brenden Aaronson before Dan James set up the goal.
Bogle may have taken some time to settle in at Elland Road, but he is quickly becoming one of the most important players in Daniel Farke’s squad.
The right-back has bagged three goals and two assists in 25 Championship appearances this season.

It is evident that the Championship table-toppers cannot be without Bogle for an extended period if they want to earn automatic promotion.
Farke will be hopeful that the Reading-born defender can stay injury-free this season.
