Stan Collymore drops Leeds United relegation verdict as Burnley win 3-2 v Everton
Stan Collymore believes Leeds United and Newcastle United are still in the battle to avoid relegation after Burnley beat Everton on Wednesday night.
In a huge game at the bottom of the table, Sean Dyche’s side came from behind to win 3-2 against Everton at Turf Moor with Maxwel Cornet grabbing a late winner.
In an instant reaction to Burnley’s win, Collymore took to Twitter to share an image of the bottom six sides in the Premier League.

Collymore’s tweet suggests he thinks Leeds and Newcastle remain in the battle to avoid the drop to the Championship.
He said: “And then, there were six.”
No chance
We’re not concerned about being relegated.
While we’ve played two more games than the two teams immediately below us, what hope do Everton really have of staying up?
Frank Lampard’s side is on the decline and they have some really tough fixtures on the horizon.
But with Leeds, Jesse Marsch’s men have won two and drawn one of their last three Premier League games and face Watford next.
If we lose at Vicarage Road on Saturday then yes, we might start to look below us.
But we’re confident of a win and at the very worst, getting a point against Roy Hodgson’s out-of-form Hornets.
Norwich are done and dusted and Newcastle are similar to Leeds.
That bottom three, in our opinion, will be Lampard’s Everton, Watford and Norwich.
Stop crying your heart out, Frank. You’re going down.
