Some Leeds fans blast one ‘Shocking’ player in first half v QPR: ‘Get him off’, ‘Clown’
Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to blast Helder Costa for his first-half performance against QPR at Loftus Road on Saturday.
Costa, 26, was one of many Leeds players who struggled in the opening 45 minutes in West London but appears to have taken the brunt of most criticism on social media.
He was unfortunate to not win a penalty early on when he was caught by Lee Wallace. Although the contact was slight, it was still enough for the on-loan Wolves man to hit the deck and the QPR defender clearly made no contact with the ball.
Costa just struggled to get into the game after that, but the whole of the Leeds attack seemed disjointed with only a couple of decent passing moves.
One fan has called for Marcelo Bielsa to take Costa off at half-time but that Leeds bench is worrying and who is really going to come on and make an impact?
Ezgjan Alioski is the only player who could do that but would Bielsa really hook Costa to replace him with the North Macedonia international?
The Portugal international is not usually someone who is taken off at half-time.
Maybe Bielsa will spring a surprise during the break but it would not be a shock to see Alioski enter the action at some point.
