Sky Sports pundit gushes over Luke Ayling in Leeds United v Everton
Stephen Warnock was gushing over Leeds United defender Luke Ayling in the first half of the game against Everton on Saturday.
The Toffees started the game strongly and nearly took the lead through Anthony Gordon in the second minute.
However, Ayling was the reason Illan Meslier’s clean sheet remained intact, putting in a sensational challenge to deny the Everton youngster.

Speaking on Premier League’s world feed, Warnock, a Sky Sports pundit said, “Brilliant from Luke Ayling. What a recovery tackle.”
Slow start
Leeds failed to get out of second gear in the opening phases of the game, which played right into Everton’s hands.
The hosts were hungrier, livelier and had the backing of a capacity Goodison Park crowd.
The Whites struggled to even string two and three passes together as they were quickly losing the ball.

Frank Lampard’s new manager bounce has certainly worked and if Leeds are to win this, things need to improve quickly.
They could muster a seven-point lead over the Toffees if they win here and Bielsa surely will be asking more from his boys in the second period.
Another loss would see them back in the mix for relegation – something they do not want to get involved in as of now.
Hopefully, they come out all guns blazing in the second half and quickly put Lampard’s men on the backfoot and silence the Goodison Park faithful.
