Shackleton starts, Rodrigo & Raphinha miss out – Confirmed Leeds starting XI v Leicester
Leeds United have made three changes to their starting XI ahead of their Premier League clash with Leicester City.
Marcelo Bielsa has been handed the boost of having captain Liam Cooper available, with the Scottish international recovering from his groin problem.
Confirmed on their Twitter account prior to kick-off, Jamie Shackleton and Pablo Hernandez have also jumped into the starting side.
It is a surprise to see these changes.
Leeds stormed to victory against Villa last week and will return to a more familiar defence at Elland Road tonight.
Luke Ayling will return to right-back, a move that shall see Stuart Dallas take up his familiar spot on the left.
Shackleton impressed off the bench at Villa Park and has been rewarded – with Rodrigo and Raphinha missing out completely.
Diego Llorente and Kalvin Phillips were the only absentees as it stood in the first-team, with that list growing once again.
Leeds will know that three points will take them into the Champions League spots, above the likes of Manchester City and United.
The points won’t be easy to take though, with Leicester already picking up wins away at City and Arsenal this season.
The Foxes have an injury crisis of their own, and the Whites will be looking to take advantage of the away’s side problem at the back.
