‘See you soon Premier League’ – These Leeds fans thrilled by Sky post on Twitter

Some of the football that Leeds United have played under Marcelo Bielsa has been breathtaking.

And if anyone was worried about taking it up a level next season, the first half against Arsenal in the FA Cup back in January showed what Bielsaball can do against one of the best sides in the country.

Plenty of others are catching on as well.

Sky posted a clip of Gjanni Alioski’s goal against Stoke from the start of the 19/20 season on Sunday and proclaimed it as #GoalOfTheDay.

It was Leeds’ second goal of the game in a 3-0 win and it marked their fourth win in the first five games.

Plenty of fans were thrilled with the goal, with one saying, “The mighty Leeds Utd… see you soon Premier League!”

The hope is that Leeds can start the mini nine-game season as fast as they started the 19/20 campaign.

Two wins from the first two games would put Leeds on the brink of promotion, with Fulham at least 10 points back with just seven games to go.

It might be too early to celebrate but this clip has got a lot of fans in the mood for the restart.

And, although it’s going to be a very different proposition without fans, it’s made us realise just how much we’re missing football.

The good news is that it won’t be long before Leeds are back on the pitch and terrorizing defences again.

In the meantime, we’re happy to watch this goal on repeat.

Here are the reactions from excitable Leeds fans…
