Rob Palmer wowed by ‘sensational’ Luis Sinisterra in Leeds United v Nottingham Forest as Sky Sports pundit baffled by Javi Gracia
Pundit Rob Palmer was stunned by the goal from Leeds United ace Luis Sinisterra in the match against Nottingham Forest at Elland Road on Tuesday (4 April).
The winger helped turn the match on its head just before the half-time whistle, scoring a fantastic goal to put the home side 2-1 ahead.
Sinisterra was then substituted alongside Brenden Aaronson in the 74th minute for Rodrigo and Crysencio Summerville, with the hosts holding out to take all three points.

Speaking on USA Network on Tuesday (4 April, 9:16pm), Palmer said: “Sinisterra will go off to a standing ovation. His sensational goal is the difference between the two teams. Rodrigo’s the leading goalscorer but he’s not 100 per cent at the moment, which is why he’s not starting the games.”
Paul Robinson replied: “It’s another attacking change by the manager, you’d have thought at this stage Leeds would want to close up shop.”

Sinisterra brilliance
Sinisterra was rightfully handed a standing ovation at Elland Road for his superb goal, with the winger working it onto his right foot before cutting inside beyond Neco Williams and curling the ball into the far corner.
It put the hosts into a deserved lead, with Leeds having initially gone behind through Orel Mangala’s goal after 12 minutes. Sinisterra’s fellow winger Jack Harrison then levelled the scores just eight minutes later.
With Leeds desperate for points at this crucial stage of the season, such an attacking change was understandable from Gracia in the dugout as the manager brought on fresh legs.
The boss clearly didn’t want to sit back and invite pressure from Nottingham Forest, another team desperate to pick up points in the battle for Premier League safety.
Sinisterra certainly contributed in a major way against Steve Cooper’s men, with Rodrigo’s arrival onto the pitch representing the attacker’s gradual steps towards full fitness, a much-welcomed substitution for Leeds fans.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites reportedly face competition from Italy and Spain in order to secure the services of Birmingham City midfielder George Hall.
