Radrizzani hits out at Leeds United fan during penalty shoot-out win v Fulham
Andrea Radrizzani hit out at a Leeds United fan on Twitter for dredging up his tweet about Adam Forshaw in the Carabao Cup win over Fulham on Tuesday night.
Before the summer transfer window closed, the Leeds owner suggested that Marcelo Bielsa didn’t need to strengthen his central midfield options due to Adam Forshaw’s long-awaited return from injury.
Forshaw, 29, has since suffered another minor injury setback but returned ot first-team action at Craven Cottage on Tuesday when he came off the bench to replace Tyler Roberts in the 55th minute.

That led to Leeds fan Andrew quoting Radrizzani’s tweet from last month and seemingly saying in a sarcastic manner: “Our savour is now on.”
Radrizzani clearly wasn’t happy with that tweet.
“Bunch of haters! Enjoy the win and support always our club and all our lads,” said Radrizzani via his personal Twitter account on Tuesday night.
Calm down, Radz
It’s a bit of a strong reaction from Radrizzani and odd that he’s spent his evening digging out what Leeds fans have been saying about him.
Forshaw is a good player and it’s nice to see the club has put their faith in the ex-Middlesbrough midfielder.
However, it was so obvious in the summer that we needed to strengthen our central midfield options and claiming that a player who’s been injured for almost two years can solve our issue is very naive.
Bielsa may have a lot of faith in Forshaw and that’s fine but how much is he actually going to play this season? Is he going to take a starting spot off anyone in Bielsa’s squad? Probably not – and we needed someone who’d step in for Mateusz Klich or Rodrigo in that midfield.
Radrizzani shouldn’t be getting involved in tweets like that. It wasn’t particularly bad and was probably just a bit of tongue-in-cheek humour.
Forshaw missed his penalty after coming on but was thankfully saved by his teammates and goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
In other Leeds United news, Martin Keown has mocked this Leeds player after what happened in a game.
