Queens Park Rangers ‘Disaster’ shared on Sky Sports after moment v Leeds United
Leeds United were all but guaranteed three points after a “disaster” from Queens Park Rangers striker Zan Celar on Saturday, Alan McInally said.
Speaking on Sky Sports News (9 November, 4:45pm), McInally shared that Celar had capitalised on a loose ball from the Whites until it came to the finish, which he blazed wide of the target.
Leeds were one up at the time thanks to Jayden Bogle, and McInally was proven correct as substitute Joel Piroe scored in injury time to seal a 2-0 win.
McInally said: “That chance has come and gone for QPR because Zan Celar has an unbelievably good chance.
“Leeds give the ball away on the left side, he cuts inside with his right foot, you’re expecting him to curl it into the corner and he can’t even hit the target – it’s a disaster for QPR, what a big chance.
“QPR are never scoring in a million years – it’ll be three points to Leeds United, don’t worry about that.”
Leeds United back to winning ways in Championship
Supporting Leeds is never easy, and despite the fact they had plenty of chances to kill the game off in the opening 45 minutes alone, that wasn’t the case.
QPR still had a couple of chances to take something towards the end, but became another team to leave Elland Road without a shot on target.
Bogle was everywhere on the day, and despite his finish being sloppy, at least he forced it home, unlike other players on the pitch from either side.

With another defender, Junior Firpo, given a suspension by the FA on 9 November, Leeds were able to rely on their other options to get the job done.
Daniel Farke will just be happy to get the job done and go into the international break with another three points, with two weeks now to regroup at Thorp Arch.
There were small warnings against QPR that Leeds still need to learn from, and hopefully that is the case with Swansea and Luton up next.
In other Leeds news, Graham Smyth shared details of Junior Firpo’s FA ban which saw him miss the match at Elland Road.
