Prutton predicts 2-2 draw at Elland Road

David Prutton thinks that the spoils will be shared in the big game at Elland Road on Tuesday night.

The Sky Sports pundit, who regularly predicts Championship games, thinks Leeds and West Brom will play out an entertaining 2-2 draw, after saying that “Leeds keep dominating games and not winning them”.

That’s a fair point after Leeds enjoyed the lion’s share of possession against both Derby and Charlton in their last two league games and only came out of them with a point.

Leeds have struggled at Elland Road this season and have only won one game against Brentford. They haven’t scored more than one goal in a single game in the Championship at Elland Road.

Two draws and a defeat in four games is a home record that needs drastic improvement.

It won’t be easy tonight. West Brom are the joint top-scorers in the Championship and took Leeds’ place at the top of the league with a 2-0 win away at QPR on Saturday.

Writing on the Sky Sports website, Prutton said, “West Brom are the side that usurped them at the top of the division after winning at QPR. They are still unbeaten and I think they will be good for a point at Elland Road.”

The bookies have it going Leeds’ way. The home side are as short as 3/4 to take all three points, with the draw and away win both around 3/1. A win would be huge for Leeds but it won’t be an easy game.
