Predicted starting XI v Derby

There’s a cracking game in store tomorrow as Derby, minus Frank Lampard, Mason Mount, Harry Wilson and others, travel to Elland Road for the early Saturday kick-off.

They’re sure to get a proper reception from the Leeds fans after spygate, the play-offs and ongoing rumblings over the sale of Pride Park.

If it’s a rivalry, it’s one that’s been built up very quickly but Leeds will be happy to do their talking on the pitch tomorrow.

The fortunes of the two sides couldn’t be more different. Leeds are top and flying. Derby are closer to the bottom and struggling.

Marcelo Bielsa won’t be taking Derby lightly, though, after the 4-2 loss in the play-offs.

There are changes that Bielsa could make. Barry Douglas could come back at left-back, Helder Costa could come in for Jack Harrison and Eddie Nketiah could be unleashed from the start.

However, Leeds are playing well and they’re top of the league. Purely for those reasons, we think Bielsa will name an unchanged line-up, with Adam Forshaw still out injured.

If he does make a change it’s likely to be Costa for Harrison but with Bielsa, it’s safer to go with the flow.
