Predicted Leeds XI v Swansea

Marcelo Bielsa gave a clean bill of health to his squad today and that means potential returns for Liam Cooper and Barry Douglas.

The Leeds manager doesn’t like changing his line-up but we think he’ll make a rare exception to slot Cooper back into the middle. Leeds need their best defenders on the pitch against Swansea, and Cooper and White are the solid centre partnership.

Douglas will have to wait to dislodge Ezgjan Alioski from the left-back position and we think the rest of the team will be unchanged.

That means that Helder Costa and Eddie Nketiah will have to wait longer for their league starts despite their goal-scoring heroics on Tuesday night.

Nketiah, especially, must be close to being unleashed from the off in the Championship, but while Bamford is still scoring he’ll have to be patient.

Stuart Dallas and Adam Forshaw are playing brilliantly at the moment.

Forshaw recorded a 100% pass accuracy in the second half of the Stoke EFL cup game when he came on.

Leeds will need them to be at their best on Saturday with second-placed Swansea likely to pose a bigger threat than Nathan Jones’ struggling side.
