Piers Morgan rages at footage shared from Elland Road ahead of Leeds loss vs Arsenal
Piers Morgan reacted angrily to footage shared by Sky Sports prior to Leeds United’s loss to Arsenal on Saturday.
Arsenal were 4-0 winners at Elland Road as Karl Darlow scored an own goal after Martin Zubimendi had opened the scoring for the visitors.
Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Jesus were then on target in the second half against a below-par Leeds side.
Leeds fans were in fine voice against Arsenal, but they were unable to inspire their side to a positive result against the Premier League leaders.
That is despite Arsenal being without key man Bukayo Saka, who sustained an injury in the warm-up that forced him out of the starting line-up.

Piers Morgan reacts to Bukayo Saka injury news
Saka has been a key cog for leaders Arsenal this campaign and was set to start at Elland Road if not for the apparent calf problem.
Paul Merson shared his views on the incident on Sky Sports, as shared on X, which celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan replied to with three angry face emojis.
While it is not known how severe the injury to Saka was, it was enough to rule him out of this contest in West Yorkshire.
A setback that may have been for Mikel Arteta’s men just before kick-off, but it did not show as they were two goals ahead against Leeds before the midway point and saw out the win with ease.
How did Leeds vs Arsenal match pan out?
While the stats show the possession was pretty much split down the middle, there is no denying Arsenal were vastly superior on the day.
Leeds fans had hope of pulling off an upset given Arsenal’s three-game run without a win in the league, but this was far from a famous afternoon at Elland Road.
Arsenal had 14 shots to Leeds’ three – eight and one on target respectively – and finished with an expected goals (xG) value of 2.39 to 0.15.
Leeds were their own worst enemies, from Darlow’s own goal howler to Joe Rodon failing to cut out a cross for the third.
Ultimately, defeats like this will happen of the course of a long season and it is now about how Leeds respond against Nottingham Forest next weekend.
