We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United
Jack Grealish has been ruled out of the Premier League game with Leeds United on Saturday.
Dean Smith said the player was still feeling pain in his pre-match press conference on Friday and that he would be rested.
Paul Robinson has said this is a “huge boost” for Leeds who he thinks will secure their Premier League status by beating Villa.
He thinks that Leeds will shade a tight game and come out 2-1 winners at Elland Road.

Talking exclusively to MOT Leeds News Robinson said, “It’s a huge boost, he’s their best player.
‘We used to say they didn’t tick when he didn’t play and while that’s not necessarily the case any more, he’s still a big miss.
“Villa have made some good signings and they’re not so reliant on him, but a player of his quality… they will definitely miss him.
“It’s a massive weekend for Leeds. They beat Southampton 3-0 (as I predicted) and I think a win against Aston Villa will clinch their Premier League status.
“I’ve looked at the table and I think one more win does it for Leeds.
“I’ve got no doubt they’ll be nowhere near the bottom three but to get safety secured so early would be excellent.
“It’s a big game for Leeds and I think that they win it 2-1.”
Aston Villa aren’t the only side with injury problems.
Leeds are missing Kalvin Phillips, Jamie Shackleton and Rodrigo, with Mateusz Klich facing a late fitness test.
Diego Llorente is fit and could step into the defensive midfield role.
