Pascal Struijk has been spotted arriving with the Leeds United squad ahead of the clash with Coventry City, according to Graham Smyth.

The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist reported via X on Saturday (28 September) that the Dutch defender was seen arriving at Elland Road alongside Junior Firpo and Patrick Bamford ahead of kick-off.

All three players had been labelled as injury doubts by Daniel Farke in his pre-match press conference so it remains to be seen in what capacity they could feature against the Sky Blues [Leeds Live, 28 September].

Alongside the injury-hit trio, Joe Gelhardt was also seen arriving at Elland Road ahead of Saturday afternoon's match having not made the matchday squad for Leeds' win over Cardiff City last time out.

Will Pascal Struijk play for Leeds United v Coventry City at Elland Road?

While supporters will have to wait and see how many of Struijk, Bamford and Firpo feature against Coventry City on Saturday, it is a massive boost to the Whites to have all three players available for this clash.

While Bamford is unlikely to come straight into the starting XI having been little more than a rotation option so far this term, both Firpo and Struijk have been regular fixtures of Farke's backline so far this term.

Although Leeds do have the depth to cope without both players, primarily thanks to the versatile Ethan Ampadu, the Whites will be reluctant to change too much following their comprehensive win over Cardiff City last time out.

Hopefully, all three players will come through Saturday afternoon's clash unscathed if they do manage to get some time out on the grass.

It would be a major blow if they were rushed back too quickly and then made their condition worse in the process.
